Academic Lettering

Eligibility

Sophomore: 3.9 cumulative GPA to qualify
Juniors: 3.8 cumulative GPA to qualify
Seniors: 3.7 cumulative GPA to qualify

Awards

The following awards are presented to the sophomore, junior, and senior recipients:
  • Ponderosa letter "P"
  • a Lamp of Knowledge pin
  • an academic letter patch
  • a certificate of lettering
  • and/or a bar per semester

Freshmen

Freshmen will be invited to a separate ceremony and receive a certificate if their grade point average for their first semester is a 4.0.

Following the ceremony, refreshments are prepared and served by the Consumer and Family Studies students for all to enjoy.
