New Student Registration

Welcome to Ponderosa High School New Student Enrollment. If you are a new family to Douglas County Schools, you will need to submit New Enrollment documentation (below) to me prior to registering for high school courses. The documents can be submitted to me by email or can be brought in at the time of your appointment. If you have questions, I can be reached at 303-387-4016 or peggy.laverty@dcsdk12.org.

Shadow A Student

Ponderosa High School has over three decades of proven success and is very proud of its accomplishments. We offer Shadow Days on the following dates:
          January 17th
          January 31st
          March 13th
          March 27th

We also offer tours of our school.  If you have someone who would like to 
shadow one of our students to find out what Ponderosa has to offer, please contact Peggy Laverty, Registrar, 303-387-4016.  GO MUSTANGS!

Open Enrollment

First Round Open Enrollment will open on November 1st and closes on December 2nd. Schools will extend offers of open enrollment based on space availability by December 6th.

Parents can see offers in the EngagED Parent Portal on December 9th at 8:00 am and have until December 13th at 4:00 pm, to log back in and accept any open enrollment offers.

In the event you did not receive any offers during First Round, you will remain on a wait list for Second Round of Open Enrollment, which opens on January 21st at 8:00 am.
