New Student Registration

Welcome to Ponderosa High School New Student Enrollment. If you are a new family to Douglas County Schools, you will need to submit New Enrollment documentation (below) to me prior to registering for high school courses. School Tours

Ponderosa High School has over three decades of proven success and is very proud of its accomplishments.  We offer school tours to new students and current eighth graders only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between the hours of 9am - 2pm.  If your student attends Sagewood Middle  School please do not sign up for a tour as all eighth graders from Sagewood will be brought to PHS for a visit before the school year is over.
Please plan for approximately 45 minutes to tour the building and discuss your questions.

Open Enrollment for 2022/2023

First Round Open Enrollment for the 22/23 school year will open on November 1st and closes on December 1st at 4:00. Schools will extend offers of open enrollment based on space availability by December 6th.

Parents can see offers in the EngagED Parent Portal on December 10th at 8:00 am and have until December 17th at 4:00 pm, to log back in and accept any open enrollment offers.

In the event you did not receive any offers during First Round, you will remain on a wait list for Second Round of Open Enrollment, which opens on January 24th at 8:00 am.
