Devices needed Hybrid and Remote Learning

PHS students will be required to bring a computer every day to school to use in their classrooms.  During this time of Hybrid/Remote learning, classroom computer carts, general computer labs, library computers and loaner computers will not be available for student use. If your student does not have a laptop or Chromebook to bring to school:

Fill out the DCSD Student Tech Loan Request Form

Parent/Guardian will need to complete the Student Device Checkout Agreement.  This form must be completed before a device is checked out the student.

Can my student use an iPad?

iPads are not compatible with the Canvas Learning platform the students will be using.

What kind of device will work?

Chromebooks will work for the majority of class here at PHS.

Some business, computer science and graphic design classes require a computer that will run programs not available on a Chromebook.

Complaints regarding violations of Title VI, (race, national origin), Title IX (sex, gender), Section 504/ADA (handicap or disability), may be filed directly with the Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education, 1244 North Speer Blvd., Suite 310, Denver, CO 80204. Complaints regarding violations of Title VII (employment) and the ADEA (prohibiting age discrimination in employment) may be filed directly with the Federal Office of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, 303 E. 17th Ave., Suite 510, Denver, CO 80202, or the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, 1560 Broadway, Suite 1050, Denver, CO 80202.
