Welcome to PHS!

Dear Ponderosa Community,

I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and spirit. These past few months have certainly been challenging for all of us, and I would like to thank you for your ability to manage this monumental change to remote learning. To our students, thank you for staying connected with your teachers and engaging in online learning. We had an incredible percentage of students who hit the ground running and continued to learn remotely. To our parents, thank you for your cooperation, guidance and flexibility during this transition. Without your help, our students would not have been this successful.

As we continue to navigate through the uncertainty of how the fall semester will look, please know we desperately want to return to normal in-school learning. Our district is diligently looking at all options, and a decision on how we will start the 20-21 school year will be communicated to you within several weeks. In the meantime, I hope all of you have a wonderful summer, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy those things you can do.

Thank you again for being such an amazingly supportive community and have a great summer!
