About Star Lab...

The STAR Lab at Ponderosa High School is an alternative program within our traditional high school designed to serve students with a variety of educational needs. In our school, The STAR Lab is primarily for upperclassmen requiring credit recovery, but also serves students with chronic illnesses, and learners requiring a different learning environment. These students work on their courses in a smaller classroom environment where the work is self-paced. Curriculum is delivered through NovaNet or OdysseyWare, both programs are board approved and align with state standards. Additionally, STAR Lab students are given considerable one-on-one attention and develop independent work habits.
