Leader Tryouts:

Any junior or senior who thinks they have what it takes to lead Ponderosa students can tryout for a leadership role in the Stang Gang.  Tryouts will consist of the students conducting a cheer or a chant given to them by the judges.  They will be given the chant a week in advance so that they have time to prepare for tryouts.  Members will be selected based on loudness, excitement, enthusiasm, and an overall spirit evaluation and teacher feedback.

Gear:

Every member of the Stang Gang will be required to pay a certain amount of money to provide for their Spirit Shirt (TBD).  Spirit Shirts will be designed and ordered online.  Seniors that earn a leadership role will be provided with a decorated cape that shows they are a Stang Gang senior leader.  Juniors that earn a leadership role will be provided a headband that shows they are a Stang Gang junior leader.  At the end of the year, seniors will hand down their capes to the junior leaders to be used in the next year.
